Tranquillitas Living LLC is an Organization, Lifestyle Management and Cleaning company based in Philadelphia and has clients in Center City, Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, Germantown, East Falls, Fairmount and surrounding counties including West Chester, Haverford and Ardmore. It is of the utmost importance to us that Tranquillitas aspires to bring tranquility, order and immaculate cleanliness to our clients lives in their homes, buildings and office spaces. We are extremely thorough cleaners, but we keep apace. We study, dream and live cleaning, organizing and positive space energy; every clean is a deep clean. We aim for immaculate results each and every time.

Catherine “Kaki” Hemphill Burns is the Founder and Managing Member of Tranquillitas Living LLC.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kaki graduated from Germantown Friends School in 2002. She attended The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, earning a B.F.A. in Acting with Honors in June of 2006. 

Prior to founding Tranquillitas Living, Kaki worked as an administrative assistant and file clerk for a Risk Management firm in Chicago, where she learned about administrative assistant duties, paper organization, filing techniques and office relocation management. Kaki worked in the service and hospitality industry at restaurants in Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia for over fifteen years. Often on site from open to close, Kaki became known for her customer service in the front of house as well as her fastidiousness behind the scenes.

In 2007, Kaki joined the team at Linda Rothschild's “Cross It Off Your List” in NYC, a boutique firm catering to the organizational and lifestyle management needs of exacting clients and families. There she developed skills in organization, relocation services, and 24/7 on-call personal assistance as a lifestyle manager. 

Over the past fifteen years Kaki acquired knowledge and expertise by drawing on these complementary skills in the hospitality and lifestyle management sectors. In June of 2018 Kaki founded Tranquillitas Living to create seamless, stress-free lifestyle experiences for discerning clients. Her signature brand of home, space care and management anticipates her clients’ needs - from decluttering, to housekeeping, house sitting, to pet care, to errands - to helping landlords turn over their properties, to setting up, working and cleaning up events, while delighting her regular clients with unexpected touches that make every day a little brighter. 

Kaki is strong, limber and flexible and she isn’t afraid of heights, no space is unreachable or uncleanable and no mess is too much for her to handle. Kaki always goes the extra mile for everyone and she goes above and beyond the call of duty. She cleans and organizes like a competitive athlete/ the energizer bunny and she has a superior presence in the work. She works very hard to maintain the highest standards of physical strength, elbow grease stamina and keeping at a steady pace while not moving through space like a bull in a china shop. 

Ultimately the immediate goal each and every day is about the quality of the work and the focus is on making a difference in people’s lives and spaces. Tranquillitas aims to make life better for their clients through their top-notch services which can be depended upon and trusted, and gives all of their clients the utmost sense of security, order, peace, happiness and tranquility.

Eric Broady

Eric Broady is a dedicated professional with over five years working with Tranquillitas Living and a decade plus of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Passionate about providing quality service, always being on time (early), Eric's discipline and commitment to excellence is evident in his work ethic and skills honed over the years. Eric's career journey spans over fifteen years in restaurants, where his role includes meticulous cleaning alongside other responsibilities. His proudest accomplishment is his decade-long tenure with a single company, reflecting his loyalty and commitment.

With a knack for basketball, minor home improvements, and cleaning, Eric's talents extend beyond the confines of his professional life. His proficiency has earned him compliments from superiors, validating his expertise and dedication.

Inspired by individuals like LeBron James, Eric values teamwork, leadership, and dedication. He finds fulfillment in respectful and honest interactions, aiming to be remembered as a respectable man who lived a happy life surrounded by loved ones.

In his daily life, Eric brings leadership skills to the forefront, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Described by colleagues as friendly and a team player, Eric thrives in collaborative environments.

Looking towards the future, Eric harbors aspirations of homeownership within the next five years, a testament to his long-term goals and vision for stability. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, cleaning, and spending quality moments with his fiancé and son.

Eric is deeply passionate about causes such as the well-being of humanity and his family, dedicating his time and energy to making a positive impact wherever he can. Whether shooting hoops with friends or reflecting on his personal motto of "just do it," Eric approaches life with determination and a drive to succeed.

Barry Rollins

Barry joined us to assist with our growing commercial side of the business. Barry’s skills and expertise come from years of managing kitchens and customer service in the restaurant and service industry. He’s more recently spent time working in the real estate business and we’re very grateful to have his assistance at this time as we continue to grow.

Tajmir Burley

I am currently a semi-professional basketball player and aspiring freelance graphic designer. In my spare time if I am not playing basketball then I'm watching basketball, and if I'm not doing that, I'm usually touching up on my graphic design skills. I hope to one day be able to play basketball as a full-time professional but also use my graphic design skills to run a successful clothing brand and also provide freelance services. Feeding my competitive nature, while simultaneously scratching my creative itch.

Gerald Mason

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Gerald has been an athlete since he was 6, excelling in football, basketball, and boxing. His passion for helping youth and his love for connecting with younger generations keep him grounded. Outside of work, he’s all about entertainment, including rapping, podcasting, and staying involved with his Overgrind OG community.

With experience as a truck driver for 3pd and working with Southern Cleaning in Philadelphia, Gerald brings professionalism, experience, and heart to everything he does.

Sarah Celona

Sarah has lived in Southeast PA her entire life and lives in the Delaware County area with her family. Sarah has experience in the service industry and studied studio art, with a concentration in Printmaking which led her into working in nonprofit management and human rights advocacy. 

Sarah’s passions have always been toward creative ventures and helping others live their best lives. In her free time, Sarah helps run an artist collective gallery in North Philadelphia.

Daniel Miller

(Executive Administrator)

With years of experience in the entertainment business, restaurant industry and customer service, coupled with quick technical skills, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge to our growing team. We’re excited to have him on board, helping us streamline operations and enhance client experiences.
